K-Wave

“K-Wave” is a term often used to refer to the global popularity of South Korean pop culture, including music (K-Pop), television dramas, films, fashion, and more. The term “K-Wave” encompasses the widespread influence of South Korean entertainment and cultural products beyond the borders of South Korea. It’s characterized by the enthusiastic reception and fanbase that South Korean entertainment has gained internationally.

“Hallyu” is another term often used interchangeably with K-Wave. It means “Korean Wave” and represents the phenomenon of South Korean cultural exports sweeping across the world.
